FAQ's

 

  • What is remote based/online coaching?
    Remote based online coaching is where skiers will get someone to video them skiing, after they have skied they will upload the video to the Coach Now app to be coached, the coaching feedback will be in the way of text, voice message, voice message over the video within the Coach Now app.
  • How do I set up my Coach Now app account?
    An email will be sent to the email address you provided in your online payment for your coaching plan, the email will contain the link for you to set up your Coach Now account and then to download the app.

  • How do I send through a video to be coached?
    Login to your Coach Now app, you can take a video from within in the Coach Now app, on your phone or you can select a video stored on your phone. Once the video is uploaded, I will receive a notification that I have a video to review and coach.

 

  • How long should the video be?
    It would be great to see a whole slalom pass, or the whole jump starting from your counter cut out to the 600ft bouy if doing doubles, or a sequence of tricks/trick run or a few specific attempts of a trick if there is one or a few tricks you are working on.

 

  • How long will it take to receive feedback on videos I have uploaded to the Coach Now app?
    I will aim to respond to videos within 24 hours of them being uploaded, this should provide sufficient time for you to process the feedback and work through the changes by visualising the changes and hopefully implement when you next ski and capturing on video.

 

  • Are these coaching plans good for someone learning to ski?
    The remote coaching will help, there are steps that can be taken when learning to ski that can reduce the time it takes to progress from getting up on two skis through to getting up on a single ski behind the boat.
  • What happens if I get injured during one of the month long, 6 month or annual coaching plans?
    Send a message through to let me know that you have been injured and are unable to ski, you can choose to either put your plan on hold or I can process a refund for the unused portion of the plan.
